Young Learners Aviation Academy
Young Learners Aviation Academy (YLAA) is part of Young Learners Academy Pvt. Ltd.(YLA)- a company established in 2008!
YLA was associated with UCMAS (Universal Concept Mental Arithmetic System)- a globally recognized brand in the Abacus training space.
YLAA owes its birth to Capt. Nitin Bendre- a passionate aviator who earned his Private Pilot License (DGCA- India) in 2017 and Commercial Pilot License (DGCA- India) in 2021 (at age 59!!)
Capt. Nitin is also the co-founder of YLA, combining his vast experience in education with a passion for all things related to flying machines.
At a stage and age in life when most people contemplate retirement, Capt. Nitin wants to help students who wish to pursue a career in flying aeroplanes.
YLA hires dedicated Ground Instructors who are CPL/ATPL holders to teach DGCA subjects. Simulator flying is also done by qualified pilots.
In Aviation Studies
Capt. J.P. Sharma
Capt. Sharma has an Indian Air Force background (having been stationed in Kargil during the Kargil war), was Dy. CFI with IGRUA and CFI-Bombay Flying Club. Scores of cadets trained by him are accomplished pilots and are working in various airlines.
Capt. Abhishek Parashar
Commander with a leading airline. Capt. Abhishek will guide us using his vast experience with cadets in FTOs. He will be lecturing our students on the practical aspects of airline flying!!
